It’s a large red Moleskine. I’ve been having this ongoing on-off relationship with Moleskine for a few years now. It has its pros and cons.
I love the hard cover, the font, the simple design, the ribbon place holder, the back folder, and elastic band that keeps it shut.
However, the pages are too thin, it dirties easily (even the black one), and I can never find one with a weekly AND monthly page layout quite the way I want to.
What I like about the one I ordered is that one side has the days of the week, the other is a page of notes. I think now that I’m not in school, I can utilize the notes page for the millions of lists I keep (To-Do, recipes, ingredients, ideas) rather than worry about due dates as much.
I’ve tried other planners, and in the end, I go back to Moleskine for the quality and the reasonable prices I can find online.
I’ve been using paper planners of all kinds for the last 6-7 years or so, and I don’t think I could ever make the switch to my phone. Writing it all down is just too satisfying, I need to see everything laid out in front of me, and I end up stuffing papers/post its in there for later reference.
Long live the physical planner!
